Ellen Stolarski
Welcome to my page! Feel free to explore the rest of the MS library page and HS library page for resources! The goals of my library program are to promote collaboration, technology, a love of reading, and information literacy skills in our school.
I am from Elma, NY and received my Bachelors in Education from Clarion University of PA in 2011 and my Masters of Science in Library Science from Clarion in 2014.
Outside of our district, I am super involved in a variety of other education projects and programs. Here's a few that I've completed in the past few years:
*PSLA's Emerging Leader Program (2014-15)
*taught at a summer camp in Poland through the Kosciusko Foundation (2018)
*was awarded the ISTE Librarians Network PLN Secondary award (2018)
*participated in the REALISD project through University at Buffalo and University of West Georgia (2019)
*Participated in the Rafael Schächter Summer Seminar hosted by The Defiant Requiem Foundation (2021 and 2024)
*was awarded the Sara Jaffarian Excellence in the Humanities Library Program Award (2022)-alongside Casie Buhler, Desiree Krise, and Traci Meeker
*Participated in Centropa's Summer Academy (2023)
Currently, I am:
*Co-Coodinator of the Pennsylvania Young Reader's Choice Award committee
*Middle School Coodinator for the Connected Library Consortium
*On the Board of Directors for Elk County Council on the Arts
